A five-days international programme with participants from Latin
America, Africa, Asia, Europe and North America

Reconciliation and Peacebuilding in Divided Communities is a five-days
intensive training programme and interactive workshops for
practitioners, local authorities, community and religious leaders,
government, media, businesses, and non-governmental organizations
working in diverse communities and communities affected by conflict.
The programme draws upon concrete experiences in working in diverse
communities from North America, Central and South America, Eastern and
Western Europe, Africa and Asia.

Building upon the TRANSCEND approach to conflict transformation,
Reconciliation and Peacebuilding in Divided Communities goes in-depth
into methods, approaches and tools for peacebuilding and conflict
transformation in intra- and inter-community conflicts. Exploring the
role of civil society organizations, the media, schools, local
authorities, religious and community groups, government and business,
the programme will draw on practical examples, best practices, and
lessons learned, providing a space for participants to draw upon their
own experiences and to address the issues and challenges facing them
in their work and communities, while looking at constructive and
effective approaches to conflict transformation, peacebuilding and
reconciliation.

agencies you think may wish to take part.
