Professor Sunera Thobani expressed criticism of US foreign policy in a speech delivered to a women's meeting October 1, stating that America's foreign policy is "soaked in blood." She has since been vilified in the Canadian media and is now, apparently, under criminal investigation by the RCMP for a potential violation of Section 319 of the Canadian Criminal Code; inciting hatred against an identifiable group.
