People in Falloojeh are being murdered. The stories coming back are
horrifying. People being shot in cold blood in the streets and being buried
under tons of concrete and iron... where is the world? (...)people.
Families are burying children and parents in the gardens of their homes.
WHERE IS EVERYONE???Furthermore, where is Sistani? Why isn't he saying
anything about the situation? When the South was being attacked, Sunni
clerics everywhere decried the attacks. W! here is Sistani now, when people
are looking to him for some reaction? The silence is deafening...

Mosul "anti-crime" task force Brigadier General Muwaffaq Muhammad Dahham
and set his house ablaze. In a telephone interview with al-Jazeera
satellite TV, Sayf ad-Din al-Baghdadi, an official in the Resistance
political bureau called for battle against US forces around the country. "I
call! on the scores or hundreds of the brothers from the mujahideen . . .
to press the American forces outside" al-Fallujah, the AP quoted him as
saying. "We chose the path of armed jihad and say clearly that ridding Iraq
of the occupation will not be done by ballots. Iyyad 'Allawi's government.

Fallujah turned into disaster area

AID workers yesterday warned that four days of fighting had turned the city
of Fallujah into a disaster area, with water and electricity cut off and
the stench of dead bodies permeating the air. The majority of the city's
inhabitants are thought to have fled before the attack started on Monday,
but thousands are still trapped inside their homes, unable to get out. US
military commanders say civilian casualties have been low, but that is
disputed by residents,! who describe incidents in which non-combatants,
including women and children, have been killed by shrapnel or hit by
bombs...

Curfews as Iraq rebellion spreads

curfews as the US military struggled to contain a spreading wave of
militant attacks. It came as American troops in the assault on Falluja were
locked in heavy fighting in the Joulan district, which they had previously

GIs Force Men Fleeing Fallujah to Return

Hundreds of men trying to flee the assault on Fallujah have been turned
back by U.S. troops following orders to allow only women, children and the
elderly to leave. The military says it has received reports warning that
insurgents will drop their weapons and mingle with refugees to avoid being
killed or captured by advancing American troops. As it believes many of
Fallujah's men are guerrilla fighters, it has instructed U.S. troops to
turn back all males aged 15 to 55.

Fallujah situation 'disastrous', charity says

Despite U.S. gains, Iraqi insurgents prove resilient in face of offensive
