*Bloodstain Analysis from Nick Berg Beheading Video - Forensic
Irregularities Cast Doubt on Events*
/Northeast Intelligence Network/
<http://www.uruknet.info/.?p=3391>
...My reaction to the horrific nature of the now infamous Nick Berg
video overshadowed any consideration of performing any type of forensic
bloodstain pattern analysis of the decapitation of this victim. Frankly,
it appeared to be a rather open and shut case - a cold-blooded murder,
an al Qaeda made-to-order "snuff film". I began to hear rumblings about
oddities surrounding the footage. One of several "oddities" involved the
blood evidence shown on the video. As I am certified in Bloodstain
Pattern Analysis by the Laboratory of Forensic Science and a member of
the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts-IABPA, I
decided to take a closer look at the video... continua / continued

*Beating Specialist Baker, New York Times*
/NICHOLAS D. KRISTOF/
The prison abuse scandal refuses to die because soothing White House
explanations keep colliding with revelations about dead prisoners and
further connivance by senior military officers - and newly discovered
victims, like Sean Baker. If Sean Baker doesn't sound like an Iraqi
name, it isn't. Specialist Baker, 37, is an American, and he was a proud
U.S. soldier. An Air Force veteran and member of the Kentucky National
Guard, he served in the first gulf war and more recently was a military
policeman in Guantánamo Bay... continua / continued

*Israel's common use of torture must be exposed*
/Mustafa Barghouthi, The Daily Star/
<http://www.uruknet.info/.?p=3386> The pictures of American soldiers
torturing prisoners at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq have shocked the
world. To the Palestinian people however, these photographs of hooded or
naked figures come as no surprise. For the tens of thousands of
Palestinians who have served time in Israeli prisons, the pictures only
bring back memories of their own torture. In many cases, the treatment
of Iraqis in Abu Ghraib bears a striking resemblance to Israeli methods
of torture. Accusations are now being made in the world's press that
Israeli security officers have actually assisted in the training of
private US security contractors being sent to Iraq... continua /

*Iraqi Plastic Art Documents Abu Ghraib Abuse*
/Samir Haddad & Mazen Ghazi, IOL Correspondent/
More than 20 Iraqi plastic artists have organized a two-hour exhibition
to showcase a remarkable collection of works giving a revealing insight
into abuses by U.S. soldiers of Iraqi detainees in the infamous Abu
Ghraib prison. The collection, which included paintings, statues and
porcelain sculpture, was displayed for only two hours in one of
Baghdad's streets, "for fear of reprisal" by the occupation forces.
"Iraqi artists are crying out loud against the humiliation, torture and
rape of Iraqi detainees in Abu Ghraib prison," said Ghazwan Al-Mukhtar,
of the Iraqi Plastic Art Association."We, artists, deal with feelings
and facial gestures, which helps us grasp the extent of brutality seeing
an American female soldier grinning before the body a a tortured Iraqi
detainee," Al-Mukhtar told IslamOnline.net... continua / continued

*Iraq, l'Eldorado perduto*
belliche... continua / continued <http://www.uruknet.info/.?p=3376>

USA, come s'è visto nell'ultima guerra, mentre i sionisti bombardarono
la centrale nucleare irachena nel 1981: era quello il vero nemico, laico
e socialista, del sionismo-imperialismo... continua / continued

...In the past few months the graves of thousands of civilians have been

calculated distortion by the US administration and its supporters...

*FLASHBACK: A promise made is a promise kept. USA would overthrow Saddam

...A CIA transcript of October 29, 1985, described a meeting between
Oliver North, Richard Secord and Albert Hakkim, in Frankfort, Germany,
with a "second channel" from Iran. Iran-Contra experts will recognize
this trio. Not only did they sell weapons to Iran, they made an amazing
promise: America would overthrow Saddam for Iran. During the Iran/Iraq
war ("The Way to Jerusalem is through Baghdad"), instead of military
support, Kuwait and other Arab states gave money... continua /
