In co-operation with the European Network for Peace and Co-operation an
expert international conference „One year after – Causes, coherence and
consequences of the Kosovo crisis” has been prepared.  First short
information follows.

We invite you to the Prague, capital of the Czech republic, where this
conference shall take place on 26-28. February 2000.

On 26-28. February 2000 an international working conference on expert level
devoted to causes and consequences of NATO bombing Yugoslavia in 1999 shall
take place in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic.


European Network for Peace and Co-operation is preparing this conference
with support and in co-operation with other organizations.

Theme of the conference:

One year after - Causes, coherence and consequences of the Kosovo crisis.

Programme:

Saturday, February 26.2000.

10 am-1 pm - participants arrival, presentation, organizational matters
1,30 pm - opening of the conference
1.45 pm - Political aspects and consequences of Kosovo crisis' -
participants presentations
4.00 pm - discussion
6.00 pm sightseeing walking tour historical centre and Royal Chateau
Hradcany
9.00 pm - dinner and participants get together

Sunday, February 27.2000

9.30 am - Consequences of bombing for Yugoslavia and the influence on the
other Balkan countries - participants presentations
11.00 am - discussion
1.00 pm - Lunch
2.30 pm -  Application and violation of norms of international law" -
participants presentations
4.00pm - discussion
6.00 pm - free time for individual exchange of minds, individual cultural
events (information center of the conference can give a helping hand)

Monday, February 28.2000.

9.30 am - Role of the international organizations in prevention and peaceful
solving of conflicts" - participants presentations
11.00 am - discussion
12.00 am - General discussion on the theme of the conference
2.00 pm - Evaluation, conclusions, closing of the conference
9.30 am - 15.00 pm - Meeting with the press: press conference, individual
meetings.

Working language: English.

Organizing institution plans to present the contributions to the public on
Internet or in a special booklet.

Accommodation for the conference will be granted.
